Grand Rounds

Weekly grand rounds; Internal Medicine & Obstetrics and Gynecology from The Ohio State University Healthsystem, as well as monthly Tumor Board from Mary Rutan Hospital are broadcast via videoconferencing to OSHN members.

Leadership workshops

Leadership training courses provided to healthcare professionals via videoconferencing. Workshops are broadcast annually with continuing education credits provided to nurses, respiratory therapists, social workers, and pharmacists.

Continuing Medical Education

OSHN members receive a discount on OSU MedNet 21 which broadcasts live webcasts most Fridays during the year. In addition, physicians affiliated with OSHN members receive a discount on conferences sponsored by The Ohio State University.

Joint Commission Satellite Network

Members enjoy discounts on Joint Commission Satellite Network. Currently members receive the programs via videotape for flexibility in scheduling.

Professional Networking

The following professional roundtables meet regularly to exchange information on current issues, build relationships with other like professionals, negotiate purchasing agreements, or engage in educational activities. Most roundtables meet 4 - 10 times per year for 1 - 2 hours per meeting. Members meet in person or via videoconferencing.
